2022 South Albany Combined Indoor Show Class Winners

2022 Fall Season Bids

The NWAPA is now taking bids for the 2022 Fall season.  If you are interested in hosting a marching band event, please do the following:

  1. Read the current version of the 2022 Winter Show Sponsor Handbook found here.
  2. Complete the online application form found here.

NWAPA February 5th Event

NWAPA Feb 5th Event @ Tigard HS is canceled due to local health and safety concerns. If you have already paid for this event, you may transfer your credit to another event by emailing registration@nwapa.net and indicating which event you would like to attend. You may also hold your credit for a future season, or request a refund.  Questions regarding credits and refunds may be directed to treasurer@nwapa.net.

At this time, the remainder of NWAPA 2022 Winter season is planned as scheduled.  We will communicate additional changes as necessary.

Percussion Roundtable

The NWAPA is pleased to offer a percussion virtual roundtable on Nov 8 @7:00PM – 8:30PM and Nov 29 @7:00PM – 8:30PM

Topics include

  • Rehearsal calendar
  • Design advice for developing ensembles
  • Budget strategy
  • Picking the correct classification for success in 2022
  • Open discussion forum
  • We will also be sharing updates regarding NWAPA Winter 2022 Season.

NWAPA Fall 2021 Classes Announced

A huge thanks to everyone for completing their unit numbers.  We’ve been able to solidify the numbers ranges for the NWAPA Classes for 2022.  All units have been placed into their classes based on what was entered into Contest Dynamics on Monday, 9/13.

AAAA90 members or greater in size
AAA60 – 89 members in size
AA50 – 59 members in size
A49 members or fewer in size
ExhibitionAny band of any size that wishes to perform but not compete at an NWAPA event. Exhibition units will receive comments only and will not receive a score from the judging panel.
