NWAPA Combined School Policy & Application

WGI has refined their rules around combined units competing in the Scholastic classes and, as a WGI circuit partner, we will be utilizing this rule for the 2022 season.

Each unit’s situation is different and will be reviewed on a case by case basis. The goal of a combined school scholastic unit is to provide students, who otherwise would not have one, with an opportunity to perform. It is not intended to create super groups that pool the resources of multiple actively competitive programs.

If you are competing at a WGI Regional or in Dayton, you must complete the WGI process which will also suffice for the NWAPA. That application can be found here.

If you are not attending a WGI event, but still want to field a combined unit, please complete the NWAPA form and instructions below. For best results, use the TAB key to move between fields.

The letters must be on school letterhead and signed by the principal. A letter from the principal of each school in the combined group is required.
